Overall, this is a great budget knife for outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, hunting and chores around the camp). The knife is with Fallkniven-like construction and goes with a plastic sheath, forming very practical and easy for maintenance set. The retention between the knife and the sheath is enough secure. The fit and finish of the knife and the sheath are very good. The blade is made out of AUS 8 steel (mid-range stainless-steel) which shows up as expected: the low edge retention is compensated by good toughness and superb easiness of sharpening. The blade is straight, with slightly rounded back-spine and tapers adequately towards the tip of the knife. The grinding of the blade is full-flat with secondary v-edge. Such blade geometry is well suited for slicing and food processing. Just a notice, it is quite easy to convex the secondary v-edge and, thus, to have a Fallkniven grind. The handle (made out of Elastron) sits perfect in hand, giving nice warmth and friction feeling even in extreme environments. Also, no hot spots at intensive use appeared. Indeed, the only care that this knife need is to sharpen it regularly. So, I give it 5 of 5 stars and thank Lamnia for the perfect service and for providing high quality products.
