CRKT Bear Claw resque knife

CRKT Bear Claw is a fixed blade knife with a Hawkbill profile. It is designed especially for recreational and professional use in and around waterways. The Bear Claw is well suited for paddlers, anglers and boaters, and also for water rescue personnel. Cutting ropes, nets and cords is quick and the knife stays secure in hand even in wet conditions.

This popular rescue knife is available with either a blunt tip or a sharp tip. The blunt, unsharpened tip helps prevent accidents and unintended punctures. For this reason the knife is well suited for use in inflatable boats.

The materials were chosen to support the knife’s primary purposes. AUS 8 steel offers excellent corrosion resistance and the glass reinforced nylon handle provides a rough, very secure texture. The finger hole in the handle makes the knife easy and safe to control.

CRKT Bear Claw comes with a hard plastic sheath that offers multiple mounting options. You can attach the knife for example to a life jacket so that it stays close at hand and can be drawn quickly in an emergency.
