In my opinion, the three models of Nieto - Comando, Poseidon and Carbitera - are excellent knifes, well thought out, at affordable budget. Each of them is sturdy and completely reliable working knife, at any environment, which is easy to maintain. Also, the workmanship is good and everything is matched and fitted properly. It should be noted that, perhaps to keep the cost low, the stainless steel liners (which are riveted to the frame) are left roughly machined (in the inner sides) and the blade runs without washers. However, in real use, I do not feel any serious lack of functionality, due to that. Moreover, the frame is so solid that the blade does not shift from centering and the disassembling/assembling is quite easy and simple. On the other hand, the steel on the blade is of high quality and it is machined precisely. The fit and finish of the G10-scales is fine.
For this concrete model (Carbitera) - solid traditional knife, build with modern materials. It seems and feels more like a heavy duty gentleman’s knife, which carries a bit of an old vibe. The blade itself can take a lot of heavy work and visually might not correlates with the slim handle, but in use it does not feel like so. There is one half stop at 90-degree. The deployment is smooth, with good walk and talk. The edge retention is completely fine. In conclusion, I recommend this knife.
