Roselli Hunting knife Messer, full tang

Wonderful knife, quick service...

I highly appreciate this knife and the reason for this is the combination of practical functionality and reliability it has. Below are some technical characteristics of my knife, which in certain degree should the same for the other ones as well. The grind of the blade is very even convex grind with no secondary bevel. The two flat sides have nice texture from the forging (actually rolling) process. The spine is sharped at ninety degree. The steel on the blade (perhaps Krupp W75) shows up with good balance of toughness, wear resistance and ease of sharpening. Note, this is not super-steel and, thus, the absolute value of these parameters is not amazingly high, but enough to give confidence at any work with the knife. The handle is general with no restrictions on the holding position. The slightly extended finger guard provides quite comfortable and secure fore hand grip and choking up grip. The curly birch scales are fitted with no gaps to the tang of the blade. The transition between the pins and the scales is also smooth. The wood is treated such that does not take stains from ingredients. At my knife there is very small, just slightly visible, asymmetry in the shape of the scales (probably attributed to the hand working), which does not affect the performance of the knife by no means. As a bottom line, I would like to say that when using this knife, independently from the task, my focus is always on the task, not the knife itself. For me this speaks a lot.
