The SPD Edition of the STS-B G10 Combo is a modern, highly detailed, purpose driven, framelock folder featuring a distinct clip point blade made in premium Böhler M390, and inspired by the classic Loveless chute knife. Precision made, featuring an integrated titanium bolster style construction with 2 sets of G10 scales included. This SPD Edition STS-B is a level up and comes with the OD Green G10 scales installed, an extra set of Black G10 scales, and Kraken Trident mark on the blade.
Please note that installation of the G10 scales requires some basic knowledge and/or experience with using precision hand tools. Do not proceed with installation if you do not know how to use precision hand tools or are uncomfortable with partial disassembly of this folding knife. We are not responsible for damage done to this edged tool in part or in whole, as a consequence of poor handling and/or improper tool use during the partial disassembly. Proceed with caution and do so at your own risk.
The STS-B is not only is built on many fine details, it also draws its blade shape inspiration from the Loveless chute knife, as well its intent. An edged tool that is highly versatile and capable in a wide range of field conditions as required by Harry Archer, another legendary figure and the man who initially commissioned the chute knife idea to Loveless. Archer required a knife that could be used for cutting parachute lines, wilderness survival, personal safety, and more; and also do so in demanding, rough environments. The STS-B is a highly reliable and capable tool for your next adventure, wilderness journey, or finding yourself somewhere, unknown, far away and perhaps a touch dangerous.
