The name Aculis comes from Latin, meaning “sharp vision”, symbolizing both the knife’s clean geometry and its focus on detail and precision.

Design and Construction

The Aculis features a Spear Point blade made from premium M390 stainless steel, known for exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Its dual finish - Satin + Blastwash - enhances the geometry while offering a subdued, non-reflective appearance ideal for daily use. Flat grinds provide a perfect balance between slicing performance and tip strength.

The handle is machined from solid titanium with a Deep Grey Smooth Stonewash finish, combining elegance with a worn-in texture that hides everyday wear. Internal milling reduces weight without compromising strength, resulting in a balanced knife weighing just 105 g (3.7 oz).

Mechanism and Ergonomics

The Frame Lock mechanism features a steel lockbar insert with overtravel protection, ensuring long-term reliability and precise lockup. The blade operates on a double-row ceramic bearing system in a brass cage, providing glass-smooth deployment via dual thumb studs - crisp, fast, and secure.
