Designed specifically for wood carving, this outstanding carving knife features an unusually thick yet narrow and robust blade that offers excellent control and durability. It is used by the artisans in Nusnäs who carve the world-famous Dala horses (Dalahästen). The Morakniv Woodcarving series is renowned for its precision and ease of use, making it a trusted choice for professionals ranging from artisans and boat builders to woodworking teachers. For hobbyists and craftspeople, the Woodcarving series provides an excellent selection of tools for discovering the finer points of wood carving.
The blade is made from easy-to-sharpen C100S carbon steel, hardened to 58.5 HRC. The handle is crafted from oiled birch. Overall length: 190 mm. Blade length: 82 mm. Blade thickness: 2.5 mm. Total weight with sheath: 81 g. Supplied with a sheath. The polymer sheath is suitable for both right- and left-handed users and features a belt loop for convenient carry.
