Coltello Pasi Jaakonaho Ferrum

Beautiful and unique puukko that's a joy to look at and hold in the hand. At first it felt too much like a work of art to be actually used for my common knife tasks, but once I started using it, I learned that it's a great utility knife that does exceptionally well in tasks that require precision and small delicate movements. The blade geometry has been made with cutting efficiency in mind rather than maximum robustness. Due to this the blade cuts really well, but I would not use it for heavy chopping or batoning (and really, the knife clearly isn't designed for such on purpose). The only negative thing was the fact that the sheath didn't hold the knife properly and was way too loose when I first got the knife. I fixed this by soaking the mouth of the seath in water and then pressed it tighter against the handle. After I let the sheath dry for about 12 hours, it has held the knife perfectly and strongly.
