The KS8OF Old Fashion is the second-largest model in Strømeng’s leuku lineup—designed for hard use in northern terrain. With its 205 mm blade, it handles game processing, wood splitting, and bush tasks with authority, while remaining slightly more compact and controllable than the full-sized KS9.

The carbon steel blade is browned (blued) to reduce reflections and provide light moisture protection—ideal for hunting and backcountry use. The wide pommel handle, made from tar-oiled birch, ensures a solid grip. A decorated, heavy-duty leather sheath completes the classic Sámi look.

Forged in Karasjok, Norway, Strømeng knives reflect more than 200 years of knife-making heritage. In Sámi folklore, such knives were said to carry healing or protective powers—an enduring spirit that lives on in the KS8OF.
