Couteau papillon Flytanium Talisong Z
The handles are precision milled in FT shop in Utah out of 7075 aluminum, the same high-zinc alloy used in aerospace construction. These channel-style handles are contoured, knurled, and weighted for fast and controlled flipping. The handles are type II anodized for improved abrasion and corrosion resistance. The custom-made pivots are micro adjustable and include ceramic ball bearings and hardened steel washers, a combination that provides incredible strength and absolute minimum friction. The knife utilizes custom made zen pins. The knife can be tuned to perfection with the fine-threaded pivot screws.
The Scimitar-style blade is made from AEB-L, a steel prized by custom knifemakers for its great toughness, high hardness, and corrosion resistance. It has a stonewashed finish and a crowned spine, making for a knife that is comfortable to flip, and one that hides scratches.
The Talisong Z comes with a blue Bali-Boot that was developed as a safe and innovative way to carry your latchless balisong. It is soft and flexible, and won't mar up the handles. It is paired with a paracord lanyard and blue silicone fly bead. The lanyard can be threaded through a belt and used as a static cord, or you can just slip the entire thing into your pocket.
