The Carinthia Defence 4 is a high-performance 3-season sleeping bag with an established reputation among military users, outdoor professionals and demanding adventurers. Built for reliability in harsh and changing environments, it combines rugged construction, serious insulation and practical features for extended use in the field.

G-LOFT® synthetic insulation is arranged in a two-layer construction to deliver an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. Differential Cut construction gives the insulation sufficient space to maintain its loft, helping to eliminate cold spots and preserve consistent thermal performance. Thermoflect technology reflects a portion of body heat back into the sleeping bag for improved thermal efficiency without significant additional weight.

The centrally positioned two-way zipper provides easy access and allows flexible ventilation when conditions become warmer. An external zipper cover flap protects against wind and moisture, while an integrated internal heat flap helps prevent valuable warmth from escaping. An anti-snag band promotes smooth and reliable zipper operation.

The trapezoidal foot section provides additional room around the feet while improving warmth and comfort. The durable, water-repellent outer material is engineered for frequent use in demanding conditions.

Defence 4 can also be combined with compatible Carinthia sleeping bags to increase versatility in colder environments.
