Fällkniven FDD Foldable Diamond / Diamond Whetstone FNFDD

The FDD sharpener is a foldable two-sided sharpener with diamond on both sides. The foldable handles allow sharpening a knife without risking cuts. As knife steels improve, becoming both stronger and harder, even greater demands are placed on the tools used to maintain them. The diamond sharpener is the best tool for standard knife sharpening. Even as a diamond whetstone wears, it remains flat, which is a great advantage in the long run. Additionally, diamond whetstones work quickly, restoring an edge fast. No oil or water is needed.

The yellow surface consists of titanium aluminum nitride, which greatly prolongs the sharpener's life. The fine side (44 microns) is for repairing significant edge damage, while the super fine side (25 microns) is for normal edge sharpening. The whetstone comes with English instructions for use. For cleaning, use washing-up liquid and hot water. Like all diamond sharpeners, this whetstone is slightly rough at first but smooths out with use. After sharpening a knife many hundreds of times, consider sending it in for a new factory edge. Please note that only Fällkniven knives are serviced.
