Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
The new Böker Dino series is absolutely pristine and will delight collectors, knife aficionados, archaeologists altogether. The handle insets are real fossil dinosaur bones which are more than 150 million years old and found in the southwest of the US. They originate from the Apatosaurus, also known as Brontosuarus and make every knife an exclusive and unique piece. Due to the mineralization of the bones each model received its own structure and coloring and has a very individual charisma. Two extraordinary knives, not only for the natural history lover. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Polished 440C stainless steel blade and nickel silver frame.
