This is a beautiful sheath. The edges are wide, sealed, and smoothed perfectly, and the leather is heavy and thick, and very well stitched, with an embossed Fallkniven logo. The dangler is likewise heavy and well done. I actually don’t have an S1 yet, but have this exact drop sheath for a 15 year old A1 that has held up very well. Instead I bought this for an NL4 with a 5” blade and it fits perfectly. The only thing that would make this sheath any better would be a standard 5/16” fire steel loop, but I secured a steel using a ranger band and a piece of tubing, secured with a lanyard which works great. I paid about $70 US for this, and think I got a great deal for the obvious quality and workmanship. Now I have my nicest Fallkniven knife in Fallknivens best sheath.
