Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.

His designs combine supreme elegance with uncompromising daily utility. It features a blade opened by thumb stud and a ball bearing for extremely smooth and uniform blade movement. Made from powdered metal CPM 154, the modified Wharncliffe blade provides plenty of utility in daily use, while its compelling elegant lines underscore the knife's slim form factor and harmonious design. Liner lock with titanium liners and titanium spacers The collector's grade version of the 10 is equipped with titanium bolsters and C-Tec scales, a synthetic resin based on an aluminum honeycomb structure. The powdered metal blade features a satin finish. Without clip.
