KMFS Vantaedge Hover Spring
Equipment hover spring enable stabilization of KMFS Vantaedge Integral sharpening kit, especialy for big sharpening angles.
Hover spring is made for placing on angle head, or extra MULTIANGLE head.
Body of hover spring is shaped so, it is self-locking: designed to last on place where is moved. Adjusted position of this lifting up angle head, guide rods, stone holder and sharpening stone. It is not necessary that stone is completely above the blade edge. Its beneficial even when partialy pushed.
This spring its not designed for sharp angles on small blades, when there is not enough space left for placing this spring.
Stroke limiters are placed on guide rod, where they limit the upper position for eliminating stone slide above knife edge on side of the blade during sharpening wide blade, and lower for eliminating slip the sharpening stone and stone holder down from the guide rods.
