Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
Some say icon, we say BRLW! Unimpressed by over 150 years of history, the stylish Boker Barlow pocket knife carries the legacy of the popular model series into the future with a modern zeitgeist. Only the best materials, the finest craftsmanship and 1869% passion go into the BRLW. The visually contrasting and precision-milled handle made of blue anodized titanium is a style-defining feature that lovingly quotes the characteristic, extra-long bolster in the front area and the wood grain in the rear handle area. A discreetly integrated frame lock with hardened lockbar insert locks the ball-bearing clippoint blade made of powder-metallurgical CPM MagnaCut (61-62 HRC) with a confident ricasso. This blade steel is characterized in particular by its symbiosis of high edge retention, hardness, corrosion resistance and toughness. The discreet flipper, which disappears completely when open, the bronze-colored screws and the titanium clip (tip-up/r) milled from solid material contribute to the elegant appearance. The lanyard hole at the end of the handle provides additional carrying options. The Boker BRLW, limited to 99 pieces worldwide, is delivered in a high-quality felt sheath. Handmade in the Boker manufactory in Solingen.
