小重型非常不错！！！

I fancied one of these as they look great, but I worried it might be a bit small. When it arrived I was happy to find it was just the right size - a perfect fit for my hand (I’m a large glove size). Everything about this knife if perfect!

I was expecting more. The action is a bit of a let down, as are some of the ergonomics. The knife feels pretty good in the hand and the sculpted micarta handles feel great. But it’s difficult to open the blade with the thumb hole due to the very heavy detent and positioning of the thumb hole is not very good, it’s somehow hard to access with your thumb. Compared to the action of similarly priced frame lock flipper knives, the flipping action is pretty crappy. Yeah it flips ok pretty much every time if you remember to put some effort to it, but that’s just it: it sort of hinges open and there’s none of the satisfactory thwack of a well tuned detent of a good frame lock flipper. Action is however very much drop shut and easy to close one handed. The most satisfactory way to open this knife in my opinion is to pinch the crossbar lock and flick it open with your wrist. Blade shape is interesting and has a very robust geometry. So robust in fact that this is not a great slicer and e.g. not great at cutting through cardboard boxes or the like. Maybe this works better as something like a camping knife. Also probably not the easiest blade to sharpen due to the recurve. CTS XHP is a great steel, though, I have liked that a lot on some Cold Steel knives previously. But overall, I feel there are far better options at this price range for a relatively short bladed knife. For my taste, e.g. Spyderco Para 3 works better (I have the Maxamet and S30V versions, and use those a lot). Bought this mostly for the cool looks, and perhaps shouldn’t have. Also still thinking about purchasing the Seal XR, but that’s definitely a knife for different type of use than the Kiku XR.

Erittäin hyvä ja hienosti tehty veitsi! Tukeva käteen, micarta kahvasta saa hyvän otteen vaikka kädet olisivat märät tms. Terä aukeaa näppärästi ja kevyesti sekä vipu- että aukkotoiminnolla, XR-lukko on hyvä. Helppo avata ja sulkea yhdellä kädellä. Kestää kovaakin käyttöä.

Small but crazy! It looks beautiful and works reliably. A knife with character.

Dösnygg och robust kniv, har inte lämnat fickan sedan jag fick hem den! Något kortare handtag som kanske inte lämpar sig för någon med större händer. Känns annars väldigt behaglig i handen, inga överaggressiva "jimpings" eller hårda vassa kanter. XR-låset fungerar riktigt bra, och efter två smörjningar med mineralolja så fungerar öppning och stängning som en dröm. Bästa köpet på länge!!
