Nice and sturdy fixed blade. Trusty CPM 3V steel, pretty sharp out of the box. Very grippy. Blade geometry good for hunting and slicing meat. Due to the flat grind not the best woodcarver. Well, but not perfectly made (mine hast a small inconsitency in the grind) -but it works flawlessly non the less.

Das Messer hat ein überragendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Es gibt kein anderes Messer mit 3V-Stahl zu diesem Preis. Es liegt sehr komfortabel in der Hand und ist out of the box sehr scharf. Auch die Scheide ist von hervorragender Qualität. Wenn du vor der Wahl stehst Fällkniven F1 oder Master Hunter, dann gibt es nur eine Entscheidung...

The last 5 cm of the blade to the top is unevenly ground, one side of it is properly tapered towards the top, while on the other side there is a visible step transition. The scabbard damages the kreaton handle every time the knife is inserted and removed. I have been buying Cold steel knives for 30 years, but this one is a total disappointment. Not even a shadow of my old master hunter that was made in Japan. I hope the cpm 3v bar is heat treated properly.
