Microtech

Microtech Knives was founded in 1994 in Vero Beach, Florida, by Anthony and Susan Marfione with a clear goal: to produce the best knives possible. The company mainly focuses on tactical folding knives and sturdy full tang knives suitable for both tactical use and survival. Their range also includes striking Jagdkommando daggers, popular among collectors.

Microtech strongly emphasizes locality, using only American materials—most of which they manufacture themselves—and operates as a significant local employer in North Carolina, where the company is currently based. Their quality control is built on rigorous research, development, and testing. Microtech sets high standards and strives for perfection, refusing to compromise.

Microtech always make good stuff, I know they are overpriced but sometimes you just have to treat yourself. Everything you'd expect to be in good order was absolutely fine. My only issue was the finger groove looked like it might be a bit uncomfortable and I was prepared to do a bit of minor re-shaping, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was fine in the hand. So no problems with the knife itself or the service from Lamnia, who were kind enough to reserve this for me until I was ready to buy, so five stars for them too.
