Surprisingly light, the handle is strong enough not to need a full steel liner. It will open with a strong enough flick of the wrist but needs some practice. Very strong lock when opened, it can be slightly sticky to release. The wave opener works well but I'd prefer the Spyderco design. Overall, it's a deadly self-defense knife, possibly one of the best. The only single downside is it's a bit more expensive than in the USA.
