K 390 steel is a class itself. Stretch 2 is a very comfortable and successful design in the realm of Paramilitary 2 and Para 3 universe, even slightly better than these. there were some minor mechanical issues right from the package but these were very easy to fix. has been in my pocket most days since i got it.

A absolutely fantastic piece for the price if you’re looking to try out K390 steel on a good sized knife then this is definitely worth your attention. It has got a bit more blade than the delica and is not as big as the police model. The stretch is more or less like a para2. The blade steel is amazing at retaining a edge it isn’t that hard to reshape ( it will take you some time but not days lol) you will find that a quick strop and the edge is like new ready for work on some of the toughest of cutting tasks. I highly recommend this piece the only thing that might be a little bit of a problem as in a personal thing is it only comes in the lightweight scales. Personally I find them very comfortable and not a problem whatsoever. Plus you can always upgrade the scales to titanium. If you so wish but being that they will run you nearly £30-40£ more that the price of the knife itself I personally can’t say I would bother. As the lightweight scales are not in anyway a problem. Go on you honestly will be overwhelmed with the edge retention of this steel.

Service from Lamnia was excellent. Product as described. Blade centered. Grinds were perfect. Handle is comparable to the size of a PM2. Nothing to complain about.

Fantastic knife, steel holds an edge very well, but need some care not to rust. Handle has very good ergos, blade drops shut. Guess we can call this the pm2 lightweight…

I finally budged and bought myself a proper supersteel in this K390 Stretch 2. Spyderco has a great reputation when it comes to heat threat and I was very curious to see if K390 was a great as advertised. Short version: it is. It needs a bit of stropping after a lot of use and get hair popping sharp again. The knife itself just oozed quality. People talk about FRN as being cheap, but it feels fantastic. Not too heavy, really sturdy and the backlock makes the knife a true workhorse. I use it for a lot of cardboard at work and slicing fruit (after cleaning of course) and it's a joy to use. Not a cheap knife but man what a joy to use. Protip: buy a deep carry clip, even though the standard clip works fine, it shows a lot of knife out of the pocket. With a titanium deep carry it feels just about perfect.

Endlich ein Spyderco in K390 mit einem Finger Choil. Der Stahl ist echt super schnitthaltig, wenn man es ölt und etwas pflegt, bleibt der Stahl schön sauber und glänzend. Nach einer Weile habe ich mich jedoch dazu entschieden es nicht mehr regelmäßig zu ölen und es entsteht eine tolle Patina. Die Klinge ist relativ dünn und daher sehr schneidfreudig! Die Optik war zuerst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber jetzt ist es das meist genutzte Messer. Absolute Empfehlung!
