This reliable bushcraft knife for all challenges of the outdoor knife is up to Morakniv's high standards. The Ash Wood Outdoor Collection presents a variety of different knives for the practical needs that arise in nature. Wit BlackBlade has been made with ecologically sensible materials.

The full tang drop point blade is black and has a PC coating, being made out of Swedish stainless steel. The handle is made out of FSC® certified ash wood from Europe. The vegetable-tanned leather sheath makes carrying this chef knife easy and safe.

The Morakniv Ash knives have received mostly critical attention, simply because they are pricey. From a company known for its extremely affordable Companion model, this series seems outrageously expensive. I do, however, disagree. Fit and finish are on the level of LionSteel, I love the optics, and the knife feels perfect in the hand. Not a bargain, but worth the money. And an ecological choice, too.
