This is a great knife, a big brawny titanium frame lock flipper from ZT, reminiscent of the old 0301 that Gibbs in NCIS used to carry. So I’m very much a fan of that. Great build quality, and I have ti say I’ve never had anything but great quality from ZT.
20CV is a great blade steel, and the blade shape is quite good, thins out to a reasonably fine edge, despite the very broad, and quite thick blade. Tip seems to be pretty strong and durable. A bit of a gripe is that at least I’ve found it’s pretty easy to press the frame lock to engage a bit too deep if you grip the knife hard, and the lock sticks a bit then. But I’ve been able to disengage it without too much trouble those times it’s happened, and it hasn’t affected the normal lock up in anyway as far as I can tell. Had similar experience with ZT 0462 CF as well. So perhaps this is not as hard use as you might think…
So ultimately, I feel something like the ZT 0562 CF is better value, more usable, easier to carry in the pocket (has one of the best deep carry clips ever), and has better ergonomics at least for me. And is just as hardcore and tough, maybe just does not look as cool.
Great knife, but not perfect, and at this price, just about perfection is what you expect.
