Product is very well made as usual from Fox 100% symmetric, razor sharp from the box. This is a special purpose knife, definitely not for everyone, practice neded for safe use. Holster let various attachements. May a kydex version would be better, but the original is also pretty OK. For my taste the edges of the holder were too sharp, with some sandpaper and polishing paper I could easily customise it to my hand. Great tool. Great materials used...

Knowing that this knife was designed by a renowned martial arts instructor , intended for close quarter combat fights, and produced by NATO contractor Fox, one expects it to be sharp, if not razor sharp. However, I regrettably have to report that this blade came blunt straight from factory. Similarly, for a knife of such a high price , its sheath should be authentic and of good quality , not Chinese knockoff which is the one that Specwog knive comes in , out of which every time you unsheathe the knife, scratches will appear on the surface of the blade. Another drawback to this blade is sharpening. Unless you are a professional cutler and have the right tools for this type of recurve , please, do not try to hone or sharpen it with conventional stones , as you will only ruin its edge and then you would have to reprofile it. Therefore, if you have no plans other than putting this balde on a display , this dull knife will provide you with no applications at all. I am extremely disappointed with it and I would not recommended it to no one!
