Roselli Little Carpenter ナイフ

Simply fantastic. As with all my Roselli’s.

Great steel and a unique but arguably unorthodox leather sheath. This is my second one as I bought one for each of my sons for their first knife. I don’t believe the blunt tip provides a significant degree of safety nor do I think it hinders the usefulness of the knife. But if it gives you or your other family members piece of mind... On the other hand it goes without saying many a youth’s first knives tend to suffer from broken tips... mysteriously. The finger guard is important a prudent feature here. It’s functional and doesn’t detract from the pleasing design. As Roselli intended, it is an exceptional tool made from quality materials: high carbon steel, burly birch, and reindeer hide, and a brass hand guard. It is relatively easy to sharpen and takes an exceptionally sharp edge, and holds it. Note: The first one I bought used a leather insert vs the new plastic one I just received. That alone should greatly reduce the corrosion associated with storing a knife in a leather sheath. We’re all cautioned against this practice of storage but...

Mooi en handig mesje in mooie leren schede. Door de ronde punt van het lemmet en het wat kortere handvat goed geschikt voor een kinderhand, maar door het scherpe en sterke lemmet een volwaardig stuk gereedschap voor houtbewerken.

Wie beschrieben, sehr hochwertige Verarbeitung, liegt gut in der Hand. Mein Sohn liebt es. Sehr schön,danke.
