Basque racing axe, based on Canadian racing axes used by Australian axemen. The hardness of the steel and racing geometry makes it a superb chopper, but the axe must be used carefully. Do not use it on the knots of the wood or for splitting tasks.

Axe head is very beautiful...handle a little flimsy..

Hand made quality product. The balance, sharpness of the axe and weight when you swing makes for an easy cut.
Absolutely amazing! The handle is quite rough and slim, so it may not be for everyone. But the head and the overall feel is gorgeous.
