The name Aculis comes from Latin, meaning “sharp vision”, symbolizing both the knife’s clean geometry and its focus on detail and precision.

Design and Construction

The Aculis features a Spear Point blade made from premium M390 stainless steel, known for exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Its triple finish - Satin + Blastwash + DLC - creates a deep black surface that emphasizes the lines of the blade while improving wear and scratch resistance. Flat grinds provide a perfect balance between slicing performance and tip strength.

The handle is machined from solid titanium with a DLC-coated Deep Grey Smooth Stonewash finish, offering a sleek matte look and outstanding durability. Internal milling reduces weight without compromising strength, resulting in a balanced knife weighing just 105 g (3.7 oz).

The Frame Lock mechanism features a steel lockbar insert with overtravel protection, ensuring long-term reliability and precise lockup. The blade operates on a double-row ceramic bearing system in a brass cage, providing glass-smooth deployment via dual thumb studs - crisp, fast, and secure.
