The Nying is a Helle classic, short and stubby. The handle is generously proportioned to give a good grip even when your hands are cold.
The attractive leather sheath has a distinctive cutout. It is fitted with a keeper strap, which engages a stud on the pommel, and a suspension thong. The Nying won an award for classic Nordic design.

さすがHelleナイフ本体も素晴らしいですが、シースがかわいくておしゃれ。
キャンプにも仕事にも、とても役に立っています。美しくて品あるヘレナイフは、最高です。
As expected, the craftsmanship, quality and, of course the sharpness of the cutting edge are second to none. Quite a handy little companion the Nying is. Surprisingly agile, comfortable hand fit, and sturdy. The list of applications/uses for the knife will continue to grow. Very nice piece.
Excellent hiking companion blade. Very sharp out of the box. The handle's size and shape makes it easy to use with gloves. The handle is more flat than round, which gives excellent leverage for twisting and turning the blade while carving.
Great knife! Made a horizontal belt sheath for it so it’s now my edc. Really sharp and easy to maintain with just a strop. Great in the kitchen, at work, carving wood, camping. Highly recommended!
