Coltello a farfalla Böker Plus Small G10 Balisong 06EX002

There is a big shortage of middle size balisongs on the market and very few come to fill the bill. You can hardly find a decent 3" balisong nowadays. Fortunately, those fine guys at Boker came with the Böker Plus Small G10 Balisong. It is, if you want, a less expensive alternative to the Benchmade 32 Morpho. Roughly the same size, similar handles' shape, even the spring latch mechanism is like the Morpho's. Indeed, the liners are not titanium but steel, but the cutouts both in the liners and in the G-10 scales keep the package lightweight. I really like the steel pocket clip: shorter, discrete and with just the right amount of tension. The blade is, IMO, better looking than the BM 32. The grinds are even and crisp, and the spine is rounded. The knife came sharp and holds a decent edge. The action is smooth and it flips ok (note that we are talking about a 3" bali here). I could easily give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the bezel at the end of the latch was poorly riveted and flew away after a couple weeks of carry :( Maybe I just got a lemon, however if this issue keeps hapening to to other users as well, I'd try to design a single piece latch for this one. Despite all these, the Böker Plus Small G10 Balisong is a great knife and I can only congratulate Boker for their initiative.

Not bad for the price, kinda wish i got the bigger version but overall pretty happy. Definitely loctite the pivot screws they loosen pretty fast.

Está bien construido y su movimiento es fluído. Viene bien presentado en una caja metálica que incluye una llave torx para ajustar los tornillos caso de ser necesario.
