The knife is a beauty, excellent fit and finish out of the box. The rubberized scales provide a firm grip with and without gloves. The blade is a bit thick for fine work but that's not what I bought it for. Great knife for fire prep and camp utility. My only complaint is the sheath, it's a bit clunky, especially if you use it with a sheath extender. The knife does lock into the sheath very securely, but it is a bit of a pain to deploy one handed while doing chores. I'll probably look for something leather to replace it unfortunately.

Fallkniven keeps raising the bar on their edge geometry. This F1x with Elmax is even sharper than my F1 Pro! Fallkniven is my favorite knife maker; I've been buying/using their knives for years. Quality is outstanding; this knife feels like an extension of my hand; it maneuvers very well in my hand. The sheath is excellent as well. I just love Fallkniven products1
Ein Wahnsinns Messer. Einfach eine Wucht. Es macht Spaß sobald man es in der Hand hält. Perfekte Verarbeitung, schwer und stabil. Hier werde ich lange Freude haben!

Schwer, solide, es liegt perfekt in der Hand. Abnehmbare Griffschalen. Ich wünschte, Fällkniven würde austauschbare aus Black Canvas Micarta und Desert Ironwood produzieren.
