Hacha Condor Double Bit Michigan Axe

This is a sweet axe! I like it so much I purchased another one the day it arrived! The hickory handle is well shaped and clean! The only issue I have with the handle is the grain of the hickory is not ideal but the fact they chose hickory was a real bonus. The axe head is well shaped and sharp enough and well balanced. The leather mask/sheath is phenomenal for an axe at this price range. The best axes in the world do not come with leather protection this good - ever. And the handle length is very interesting. This is not a hatchet. And it is not a very large tree felling axe. This is a sweet spot in between with a handle not too long and not too short and the head size fits the handle well. I've not seen a double bit axe like this one ever and I collect axes. This axe, if well known in the bushcraft community, might rival the Gransfors Small Forest Axe as the go-to axe for solo survivalists because of it's versatility in the back country if they were to know this axe existed. Take a chance - buy this axe. You can not go wrong. It will fit a niche in your collection, and you will not regret it. I'm just glad I discovered it before everyone else did.
