With the GMF1-P design, Giand Mouse aimed to make a small utility fixed blade with great ergonomics. A fixed blade that will challenge your folders for carry time. The GMF1-P is a small, compact, light-weight knife with full impact and all the blade you will need in most EDC situations. The GMF1-P has a beautiful dark PVD coating that has been stonewashed. Each GMF1-P comes with a handmade leather sheath designed by Ansø and Vox specifically for this knife. They chose a natural color leather for the sheath, which provides an amazing contrast for the dark steel blade, and will develop a wonderful patina through use.

A beautifully made and finished knife, the steel most impressive. However, the handle is too small (I know it is meant to be a 3 fingered knife handle) this makes it very difficult to get a good grip and the blade might slip as a result. I put a paracord lanyard on it which helps a bit. 1 more cm of handle would have negated this problem and need for a lanyard. The quality of the accompanying handmade sheath is high, but so is the way it carries, it is far too high on the belt, it would make more sense to have the loop at 90 degrees and use in a scout or appendix carry. I read and watched the Hype over this knife and it made me want to buy - regret it now.

Le design est réussi, fonctionnel et correspond bien à un usage en EDC . Le petit étui fourni trouve aisément sa place dans une poche. Je décommande le port autour du cou, la rétention de l'étui étant moyenne. J'aurais apprécié des plaquettes fines (1mm ?) pour faciliter la tenue en main. Le manche est un peu court pour les grandes mains (taille 9/10) qui se retrouvent avec une prise instinctive en "2 doigts et 1/2" ce qui demande un ajustement. Excellent petit couteau que je recommande
