Cuchillo Nieto Chaman Tactico

Note: the current sheath photo on Lamnia is for the Macro and not the Tactico. Many buttons, allows for horizontal carry but otherwise makes it look a bit tacky/cheap. I have the macro and decided I wanted something similar but smaller so I wouldn't be getting nervous looks while out hiking with a 6.5 inch knife on the belt. This seemed perfect. I should have looked more closely at the blade thickness; at 5.5mm thick this 4.5 inch blade seems quite chunky and is pretty heavy. Pros: Handle feel is pretty perfect, sharp edge, cool blade design, blade thickness inspires survival use confidence, nice balance, decent sheath Cons: Heavy, not a fan of all the steel buttons everywhere on the sheath (looks tacky and also draws attention), too thick compared to the length, steel not rounded where it should be (very sharp at the guard area against the index finger), spine is rounded except for the jimping (would have preferred the jimping to be rounded and a small unrounded part of the spine just above the jimping for use with a firesteel), single stitching on sheath

Very good product.

Very well made knife. Has a good handle and blade. Handle to blade ratio is a little off with the handle design feel for a larger blade like the Macro and XXL. However the blade size and overall package makes this a very portable useable knife in all general utilities. It is also small enough to not come across as intimidating if used in a setting where people are around. Think camp, chore or bushcraft. Overall a wonderful design still.

alles gut aber musste einige stellen nachschleifen fand ich nicht so toll. und die fingerablage war etwas schief gefräst. naja bekommt man schon irgendwie hin mit bissl schleifpapier trotzdem ärgerlich bei einem so tollen produkt. ansonsten gefällt mir das messer sehr gut.
