I love quality, you get what you pay for
One of the heavier blades from Helle, this is a strong knife. It is blade heavy, rather than balanced, and very sharp. The handle is narrow, and the blade is long, making the knife better suited to cutting rather than carving tasks, in my opinion. It does notch and shave wood easily, but the handle causes some hot spots in my hand. I love it for the authentic look and durability.

Always have been impressed with the workmanship of Helle knives. Super sharp out of the box and very durable.
Sharp as ever, but blackened area not consistent; seems to have been less than optimally treated.
Eigentlich ein prima Messer, bei meinem Exemplar war allerdings die Klinge leicht verzogen. Da sollte Helle bei der Qualitätssicherung nachlegen.
Periaatteessa hyvin massiivinen kyläsepän puukko. Liian iso ja jäykkä hyväksi yleispuukoksi.
Tuppi oli liian tiukka, puukko ei mennyt kokonaan alas paikalleen.
Suosittelisin ainoastaan viikinkifaneille.

Отличный минималистический нож. Для тех кто хочет погрузиться в историю. Отличный клинок и рез!
Нож понравился, ничего лишнего, рабочий инструмент. Из коробки бреет, но не режет, подточил и заполировал, убрав со спусков следы заточки на станке. Рукоять удобная, не пропитана, впитывала кровь как губка. После пропитки на водяной бане льняным маслом, данная проблема устранена. По дереву нож хорош. Сейчас проходит испытание на кухне) спуски сведены под углом 35-36 градусов, что для этого ножа много. После переточки под 26 градусов нож, думается, проявит себя во всей красе. Ножны понравились, нож в них сидит очень крепко. Кожаный подвес внушает доверие. Сервис магазина порадовал, но через всю страну шёл чуть больше двух недель. Выполнен нож аккуратно.
