Cuchillo Black Fox Vesuvius

I was selecting this knife between others for quite some time, and it appeared the most appealing from design standpoint. But as it appeared - in reality it looks a bit different than in the picture, don't get me wrong - the picture is accurate, i guess it's the scale or the something that changes the perception. it is a bit heavy, i'd say. the blade cutting edge is sharpened badly - it deteriorates after even light use. It has to be re-sharpened. my main complaint is the handle. It is awful. it is too flat and thin, with quite sharp edges. It was very uncomfortable in the hand. So I had to change the handle scales. I also shortened the handle to remove weight, but that is just my preference and my hand size. I had great experience with Lamnia, but was not very satisfied with the knife

This is a really nice knife. The build quality and ergonomics of the knife are outstanding. Unfortunately, I had to send it back to Lamnia not long after receiving it, as I found out it is made in China, not Italy. I do not buy Chinese made knives, among other things. Regardless of country of manufacture, the fit and finish was excellent and it's a beast of a knife, yet compact enough for regular woods carry and maybe even EDC. Also, the sheath is nice and very functional. I'd have gladly paid $100 or more for this knife were it manufactured in Italy.

Good steel, good size for hunting or edc knife.

Нож массивный, на фото кажется меньше. Удобный для средней руки хват. Волосы из коробки не бреет, но заточен аккуратно. Толстый в обухе, но не колун, спуски удобные, овощи-колбасу резать удобно. Ковырять можно, остриё клинка позволяет. Батонить тоже можно без опаски. В целом ощущение качественно выполненного рабочего инструмента, своих денег точно стоит.
