The history of Kainuun Puukko goes back to 17th century and until today the knowledge of traditional knife making still remians in the Kainuun Puukko smithy. Kainuun Puukko, which is well known for their Tommi Puukkos, produces their knives with the ultimate knowledge of knife making, making no compromise with material or craftmanship. KP knives are made by hand from the beginning to the final stage. The quality of Kainuun Puukko’s Tommi-knives is legendary, appreciated not only by the quality conscious hunters and collectors, but also by kings, presidents, generals and other dignitaries worldwide. At the present the blades are hammered by knife smith Marko Lindelä (ML).
