In my opinion, the three models of Nieto - Comando, Poseidon and Carbitera - are excellent knifes, well thought out, at affordable budget. Each of them is sturdy and completely reliable working knife, at any environment, which is easy to maintain. Also, the workmanship is good and everything is matched and fitted properly. It should be noted that, perhaps to keep the cost low, the stainless steel liners (which are riveted to the frame) are left roughly machined (in the inner sides) and the blade runs without washers. However, in real use, I do not feel any serious lack of functionality, due to that. Moreover, the frame is so solid that the blade does not shift from centering and the disassembling/assembling is quite easy and simple. On the other hand, the steel on the blade is of high quality and it is machined precisely. The fit and finish of the G10-scales is fine.
Regarding this concrete model (Comando) - completely successful take on Buck 110. Although the latter is great, I personally prefer Nieto-Comando. In actual use, the knife feels well balanced, comfortable and solid in the hand. It can take a lot of hard work. The M390 on the blade definitely stands out with it performance. In fact, the balance between edge retention and toughness is quite nice here. The two-side thumb stud is positioned such that it does not reduce the cutting length noticeably and the one hand opening, despite the lack of washers, is still fine. The pocket clip is reversible - left or right - tip down carry. Also, it does not bother the hand in use. In conclusion, I recommend this knife.
