This is a great little knife with thoughtfully laid out touches, which is why i love it. You can see the excellence in the manufacturer’s process. Bellisimo! The clip holds the knife very nicely on my belts because of the ball. A bit hard to slip on but it’s remarkable how secure it holds compared to typical clip design. Thats pretty huge for a person that has lost a few belt clip items. I also enjoy how the choil and the inside of the thumbhole are polished, too bad the thumbhole is so hard to use. Since this is a pretty classy knife i don’t really want to flick it open all the time. I want to open it slowly sometimes with ONE hand or two, maybe thats just me. This Suru reminds me of Ganzo FH61 which is awesome all around, its just slightly bigger and may be a better size. The Suru has no grip to spare for me and i think i have larger Medium but thinner size hands. The apex of the blade grind almost touches my index finger in the choil. Its probably safe but it weirds me out just a bit and my gloves may be at risk a bit.. The ganzo also has a better grind than this Suru(i know that sounds crazy but SOME Chinese knives are great now).

It did not arrive with the kind of action that I knew it was capable of having. I had to break it down, clean, lubricate and adjust it to get even an acceptable action from the knife. I use Wiha torx bits and found the screws to have a rather imprecise fit, which resulted in some nicked up screw heads by the time that I finished. Yes, I applied a lot of pressure to the screws when disassembling, as this is not my first time at the rodeo. Its a cute knife and, except for the nicks in the screw heads now, its decent and good looking, but not mechanically exceptional by any means. I expected more. I could have purchased the budget model on Drop.com for considerably less.
