Roselli Hunting knife, long

Wunderbares Messer von Roselli, unter den Finnen zweifelsfrei die Besten unter den Nicht-custom Herstellern!

Sehr gutes Messer dazu sehr gut Handwerklich ausgeführt, gefällt mir sehr gut.

Wie bei anderen Roselli Messer ist die Klinge in dieser Stahlvariante sehr leicht zu schärfen . Die längere Klinge ist sogar in der Küche teilweise einsetzbar und die geringere Stärke dieser Klinge macht von diesem Messer eine potentielle Alternative zum Leuku .

While called a large hunting knife, this is also an alternative to the small leuku. I had looked at the leuku, but found the handle too thick for my glove size 9 hands. Wouldn’t have wanted to use it for carving or slicing. The handle on this knife is ideal in thickness, identical with the original hunting knife. I do have two small complaints: one is that sheath retention is not as good as it should be. The other is the broad “finger guard”, which keeps the hand half a centimeter away from the blade. I don’t see the point and it means there is higher stress on the wrist during push cuts. Not a perfect tool, but a good one nonetheless. Beautiful in its simplicity at least to my eyes, but overpriced as most Roselli knives: you can get two WoodsKnife leukus for the same price.

Bon couteau, bien en main et très coupant. L'étui est léger et agréable à porter. L'émouture n'est pas lisse; elle est laissée brute, non polie... C'est assez décevant pour un couteau de ce prix. Ceci dit, ça reste un "must".. Un beau et très bon couteau de chasse / plein air.
