I have purchased numerous axes and hatchets from Lamnia in the last couple years and this is one of my favorites. I'm a big fan of hultafors axes but the gransfors bruks Scandinavian forest axe is amazing. It's size and weight are perfect for limbing ,felling all around general purpose. The handle grain orientation is great and the head is mounted perfect. Thank you Lamnia!
Upon receiving the axe, I noticed that it was very well beveled and sharpened. The contours seemed just right for soft woods. The handle is hung properly and is comfortable. I took it out to test, and it bit better than any ax designed for soft wood that I have used.
I haven’t had it long enough to speak to its longevity or edge holding abilities, but I expect that it is of heirloom quality.
The product is perfect, better than I expected. The over seas mail shipping was horrible. The shipping is No fault of Lamnia or the Finnish postal service or American postal service. With Covid19 it was delayed at airport for approximately two weeks. And America has this ass hole of a President who is mental stupid and is screwing with American postal service because he is in a pissing war with Amazon!!!! Please Feel sorry for Americans; pray for us that we get the ass hole out of the government. PS. I can legally call him an Ass :)

Beautiful straight grain handle and an edge only a master could place on an axe. Very impressive.

Прекрасный топор, легкий и функциональный! Сталь замечательная, из коробки брил, а после перерубания 40 см дерева, не уверенно, но все равно брил! Денег своих стоит!
