The steel in this blade is really very hard, it's a pleasure to use it but it rusts in a few minutes if you cut something acidic like apples or cucumbers. The solution is to wash it after each cutting of this kind. The knife is spyderco with lock on the back, better than that you can notThe knife is spyderco with lock on the back, better than that it can not be. 😀
