TRC Knives South Pole 刀

One of the best fit-and-finish knives I have. This knife has been a great user. I highly recommend this knife.

Beautifully made and looks like it will last

Although I haven’t used the knife very much, the craftsmanship is outstanding. The fit and finish combined with amazing ergonomics makes this one of my favourite, if not my favourite knife. TRC knives are extremely high quality. Totally worth the money.

My South Pole is absolutely stunning! It arrived from half way around the world in literally four business day too. The box/presentation in very professional, and the knife...is oustanding. It makes my hand smile when I hole it. It does have a major negative...I now badly want the Apocalypse knife. Oh well.

Nothing but Perfect except for one thing. I have tried contacting the manufacturer and different forums online and cannot find any way to unscrew the unique screw heads on the Micarta scales. If the handle needs to be cleaned you do not have the ability to do a complete thorough cleaning.

This is an outstanding piece of work

The knife is impeccable. It's construction, even at first glance, is a handmade, custom product of the highest caliber. The grind is perfectly symetrical, the finish as it should be. The micarta scales blend perfectly with the rounded (capped) edge of the knife, and produce no hot spots when used. Razor sharp out of the box. The blade is tough, and pops back to razor sharp with a few strokes on the ceramics and a strop. Highly recommended.

Fit, finish and materials are excellent on this knife, hasn’t had a lot of use yet but appears the ergo’s are good. Recommended.

Outstanding. Fantastic heat treat on the Elmax. I put a new edge on it with Japanese water stones and stroped on extra fine compound. That was a month ago and I've battered this through wood for bushcraft tasks on 4 outings and its still hair whitiling sharp. The handle is a little narrow for my liking and the finger groove makes it smaller still. The capped spine is still sharp for a Ferro rod but very pleasant for thumb push cuts. The jimping on the spine is just decorative and provides zero traction. If the cosmetic finish is important to you I suggest the leather sheath as the kydex has very badly scratched my satin finish and that was with a clean inner sheath. Brilliant knife and I'll be going for the splinter in m390 next. Lamina was fast and a great company to deal with. Shipped to Scotland at light speed.
