The Carinthia HIG 5.0 Trousers are high-insulation cold-weather pants designed as the ideal complement to the HIG 5.0 Jacket. Built for operations where periods of intense movement alternate with static positions, they provide dependable warmth in temperatures down to -20 °C.

A key feature is the Split-Leg construction with fully separable side zippers running along the entire length of each leg. This allows the trousers to be put on or removed quickly without taking off boots or other equipment. The two-way side zippers also incorporate wind protection for improved performance in exposed conditions.

High-performance G-LOFT® insulation at 125 g/m² provides reliable thermal protection, while durable reinforcements at the knees and seat increase resistance to wear during movement, kneeling and demanding field use.

A new suspender system provides a secure fit during active movement. The raised rear waistband gives additional coverage to the lower back and kidney area, while a rear pocket with a concealed zipper and zipper garage keeps small essentials securely stored.

The CARINTHIA® SOF 2L outer construction is windproof and highly water-repellent. HIG 5.0 Trousers are designed for military special forces, infantry, law enforcement and security personnel, as well as hunters, forestry professionals and demanding bushcraft or survival use in cold regions.
