I have owned a Peltonen M95 knife for more than 10 years. I am very happy with it. This little Peltonen M 07 knife went to my daughter as a birthday present. I hope it will be a great "helper" in her hiking equipment

Absolutely fantastic knife arrived pretty sharp to begin with but I always make sure to strop any new knife before use and it didn't take long to get it scary sharp. I bought this knife having already owned the M95 version which I have had for about 2:years , the smaller M07 is superb the steel is fantastic one if my best carbon steels to use really easy to sharpen and holds a great edge. These are very robust working knives definitely not one to keep on shelf looking pretty. I have to mention what a fantastic store Lamnia is to shop at, Aladdin's cave for knives excellent customer service with knowledgeable staff.

This is a really good knife. Came with a good edge that was easy to bring up to my phone book paper standard. Held its edge well on cardboard, and stropped back quickly. The sheath is innovative and holds the knife securely. The strap on the sheath is a pain in the neck to use, but once on the belt should be secure.
