SOG uppkallades efter ett hemligt US Special Ops specialförband – MACV-SOG, som stred i Vietnam. Inspirerad av deras unika bowie-stridskniv grundade den unga designern Spencer Frazer 1986 SOG Knives & Tools med målet att återskapa den ursprungliga bowiekniven. I dag är SOG en riktig innovatör inom knivindustrin.

The Trident 2.0 has morphed into a top-notch work knife with the use of technology, modern materials, and a little class thrown in for good measure.
For starters, all the metal parts and including the blade, crossguard and pommel are satin finished stainless steel. It looks incredible! The stacked Micarta washer handle nods to tradition with the use of interspaced white washers and provides an unmistakable SOG look. The thick (.240”) AUS 8 blade is topped off with a faceted tip that is a SOG signature and completes the total package.
