Great hawk! Much more heavy build around the shaft than expected. Loose head on the axe so set screw had to be removed and and a little work on the shaft so the axe head fit tight. Axehead alone is 423g and shaft is 253g. Some hawk shafts from CS pass 300g depending on density on the Hickory wood. I find CS hawkshaft more comfortable in hand than Condor hawks, because they are a bit thinner.I also prefer CS profile on the edge, its really give deep cuts in wood.
