Recon Tanto with a VG-10 San Mai blade steel is a combat knife designed for disarming or making the attacker otherwise disabled even when the going gets though and you are unable to use your full power. The secret is that the force of the blow is concentrated in a small area.
The knife has a shining satin finish on the hollow ground blade bevels and a contrasting line grain finish on the blade flats. The Kray-Ex handle is oval shaped and flattened. It provides a great grip. The knife does not roll around in your hand even if you get distracted and loose your clasp during a hassle.
The Recon Tanto San Mai comes with a thick, high quality Secure-Ex™ sheath, which will keep Tanto at your side trough years of hard action.
