LifeStraw Personal comes with a durable membrane microfilter (with a pore size of 0,2 microns) that removes 99,9999% of the bacteria (such as Salmonella, E.Coli, Vibrio, Shigella etc.) and 99,999% of parasites (for example, Giardia and Cryptosporidium) and also 99,999% of microplastics and impurities (sand, silt etc.). It also reduces chlorine and odors and improves the taste of the water.
