The SPD Invictus Bali-Ti is a utility butterfly knife, featuring titanium billet handles, a Böhler M390 blade, bronze bushing pivot, and a titanium spring latch. Additional details include jimping on the ears and back spacers, and a billet titanium pocket clip.

Taking the design cues from PDW Invictus folder, SPD created this butterfly knife version. Precision made in a utility form factor for those who prefer a "working" balisong knife.

Should of ordered the green micarata version. But beautiful knife..Very well made solid piece.

I was thrilled to see that Prometheus was making a balisong. It's well made but for my purposes could be a little longer as I'm used to 4 in blades and this is around 3 and 3/4." Consequently the handles are a bit short for manipulating although I do understand that this was designed as a working balisong to be more of a tool than a plaything. The price point on the Prometheus knives tends to stray a bit to the high side for what you get which is not to say that workmanship and materials aren't first rate. Also, instead of having the stop pins on the blade I believe that for this price level they should have placed the pins on the frame as we see with many higher end balisongs. Whether this will account for more wear over time is yet to be seen. I chose the valley song rather than traditional folding knife from this company because I felt it was first of a kind for them and unique and I like owning unique tools.
